After following the least traveled path with our other operations, we decided it was time to improve on most of the more common destinations in Patagonia.  Dreamcast is  applying all of the successful elements of our long-standing operations, and combining it with the historically regarded fisheries of the central fishing zone.

The Junin de los Andes to Bariloche region is probably the most widely known fishing area of Patagonia. The first “destination anglers”, most likely found themselves on one of several estancias, which were the first to open their doors, and rivers, to anglers from around the world. For this reason, the names Arroyo Verde, San Huberto, Collon Cura, and several others, are synonymous with fly fishing in Patagonia.

Although the Estancias, and their waters, help to provide a great atmosphere for any trip, they are only part of the picture.  Our guides, superior vehicles and boats, customer service, and logistical planning, is a crucial element to a successful trip which includes these Estancias.  Not only will we insure a great time at any or all of the Estancias, but as well, we will help you discover many of the overlooked fisheries in the region.  This includes our inspiration to working in the region….The Limay Medio.

We will hold this fishery up to anyone as the best Brown trout fishery in the world (excluding Sea-Run Browns obviously). With more than half of our past groups recording a brown over 8lbs, and many of them over 10lbs, this river is the best opportunity, for an accomplished angler, to land the fish of a lifetime.

It is rivers like the Limay Medio, Caleufu, and Chimehuin, that have inspired us to perfect the art of angling and river camping. Our well-provided river camps, are another reason Dreamcast stands out among outfitters in this region.
